Here’s the game plan if you’re on the fit side of the bell curve and have maintained your physique during the lockdown. (Nice work by the way!)
You’re in a great position not just to look good but to blow people away by your quarantine transformation. Keep doing what you’ve been doing for the first month. Easy!
Nudge up your exercise levels. Add just a bit more exercise into the mix. If you’ve been walking, running, or cycling for example, tack on an extra 5-10 minutes. If you’ve been doing strength training, add some extra sets or more resistance. This middle month is your chance to add additional muscle tone to give you some visible "pop".
This is the month to take your already good diet and remove the last few things that were dirtying it up. Challenge yourself to 4 weeks without unhelpful sugary items, processed foods, or caloric beverages (which includes alcohol). This, combined with your steady exercise, will add the final coat of polish to your frame that will knock the socks off the people you meet post-virus. You’ve put in the hard work, now you get to bask in the social glow of showing up to the first vaccinated get-together looking fit and fabulous! Savor it!
